Unfolding over two weeks of classes, workshops, activities, and trips, supervised 24/7 by current McGill students, this experience will introduce you to university life and is sure to make your summer memorable!

While McGill is an English university, in the city core, it’s not uncommon to hear Montrealers using French and English interchangeably. Around half of Montrealers’ mother tongue is French, 12% call English their mother tongue, and one-third of the city speaks another first language, including Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Creoles, and Chinese. If you don't speak French, don’t worry—you’ll be able to get by with ease in English.
The Summer Academy will give you the opportunity to explore different the neighborhoods of this incredible city: the Old Port and its cobblestone streets, the Plateau and its amazing food and murals, Place des Arts and the summer-long festival season, just to name a few.
About McGill University: McGill has two campuses, on the Downtown Campus and the MacDonald Campus.
The Summer Academy will take place in the Downtown Campus, and you'll be able to visit MacDonald Campus during your stay.
