What was your favorite part of the program?
Just hanging out with friends, doing activities we planned, Munich was the best. – Eric
I thought having Klaas there to take us to have different cultural experiences like the Dunkel Cafe and a soccer game was one of the best parts. – Andrew
I really enjoyed that trips were included and that we had several meals taken care of. I also liked how helpful the program was while I was there. And i enjoyed having Ann Halpin come to visit. It showed how personal the program is. - Lauren
What was your favorite class?
Peace and Conflict Resolution.- Kerry
I really enjoyed the language course. I learned a whole lot without having to stress myself doing it. – Andrew
What did you like most about your program city or country?
The language and being able to walk everywhere.- Anne
Marburg was largely college students. The college town feel was nice. Also having the schloss in the city. Free transportation. – Karl
I love how practical the people are in Germany. They ride bikes often over driving, they use public transportation systems, they take recycling seriously, and they are generally very friendly. I thought Marburg was a very cute little city. It was fun to be in a place where so many students live. - Lauren
What I know now but I wish I had known before I left…
To bring more money.- Kerry
Walking along the river is nearly as fast as taking the bus when going into town. A bike could have been useful.-Anne
I wish that I knew that the entirety of who I am would change due to my travels abroad. - Tim

Klaas was very friendly and he took us to some cool places in Marburg. – Kyle

What did you like most about your housing?
I was able to met not only students from my building but the many surrounding buildings. There was also a popular student bar in the area. – Anne
The view. Being immersed with other foreign students meant that they didn't have a preexisting social network and were more friendly. – Karl
I liked the size of my room and that there was a full kitchen for the students on each floor. – Lauren
What was your most favorite excursion?
Blind cafe, very cool eating in the dark – Kyle
Munich. It was the best city. Klaas took us to a soccer game, which was an interesting cultural experience. - Karl
My favorite excursion was the one we took to München. I had been there before, but there are so many beautiful places to see and of course it was an important experience for people to go visit the concentration camp in Dachau.- Lauren
We took a trip to Straufenberg castle. Simple short day trip excursion but it happened to be in the middle of a medieval market which was just awesome. - Tim
